Prior to working for Glasshouse, I worked in the TV industry in Auckland for 3 years. I then moved to London for 2 years where I worked at Discovery Channel as a Production Coordinator until Covid brought me back home to Cambridge.
I jumped at the opportunity for the Office Manager role at Glasshouse, because property management has always been something I have been interested in and this role provides the perfect opportunity. It would be awesome to have my own investment portfolio in the future, so I am really enjoying learning more about the industry.
It’s also really cool being able to put people into homes and get the best outcomes for our clients.
One of the things I love about my job is being able to help a tenant through the application process, from applying for a rental home, to moving in. It’s really awesome going on that journey with them. I love having the opportunity to meet and talk to new people everyday. In the short time I’ve been here, I found tenants so appreciative of having someone who genuinely wants to help them out.
But the work we do is only one part of our experience at work, who we work with and the culture of the organisation we work for plays an important part too.
