From April 2022 to March 2023, we surveyed 203 Glasshouse tenants to identify the top 5 reasons for leaving, and these were our findings.
1. Moved Out Of Town
32% of people surveyed stated wanting to move out of town as their reason for vacating their rental property.
2. Outgrew The Property
25% of people surveyed stated wanting to downsize or upsize as their reason for vacating their rental property.
3. Purchased Their Own Home
13.3% of people surveyed stated purchasing their own property was their reason for vacating their rental property.
4. Property Was Sold
9.35% of people surveyed stated that their rental property being sold was their reason for vacating.
5. Change In Situation
9.35% of people surveyed stated a change in their personal situation was their reason for ending their tenancy.
